  14.   Sorry, Wisden does NOT have a list of batsmen dismissed off the first ball
  15. of a test, though it does have a list of bowlers who took a wicket with their
  16. first ball in test cricket.
  17.   This list does appear in "Figures of Cricket" by Sudhir Vaidya, although
  18. I don't have it now. Offhand, here are a few instances in recent years:
  19.   Roy Fredericks-dismissed by Abid Ali at Port-of-Spain in 1970-71
  20.          This was India's first win against WI, and the setting for
  21.          Gavaskar's debut
  22.   Sudhir Naik-by Andy Roberts, Calcutta, 1974-75
  23.                  Poor Sudhir is better known for the "socks episode" during
  24.          the 1974 tour of England.
