  22. Exactly my thoughts.  Trying to blow up one's opposition must be the very
  23. highest compliment one could pay them (and we don't even have Hadlee this
  24. time!).

  26. Latest news reports are that the New Zealand team is split on whether or
  27. not to continue the tour with most of the married team members (with the
  28. exception of Crowe and Jones and possibly a few others) wanting to come
  29. home to Mummy and most of the single players voting to stay.  Coach Warren
  30. Lees is very much in the former camp.

  32. A few reports have drawn a comparision with the New Zealand Netball team's
  33. decision to stay on in Britain after IRA bomb threats, suggesting that the
  34. netballs have a little more intestinal fortitude than our cricketers!
  35. Personal opinion will no doubt dictate how one responds to such parallels,
  36. but all I can say is that I hope we never have to fight another war if
  37. the current controversy is an accurate measure of the nation's courage.
