  27. Why would you want to trade for Clemens when you can simply sign Cone?
  28. I won't argue as to whether Clemens or Cone would be the best present
  29. value.  But I don't see why any team would be willing to trade for
  30. Clemens.  (Flame retardent: note that I'm not saying that he is not a
  31. great player.  I have great respect for Clemens.  Saw him shut out my
  32. Jays 2-0 Fenwick opening day a few years ago.  Boring game, but great
  33. pitchers give you a lot of boring games.)
