- I had always thought that two grand slams in an inning had never been
- achieved before 1986. In early August of that year, on the 6th I think,
- the Rangers and Orioles locked up for a real slugfest, in which two O's
- hit grand salamis in the same inning. Unfortunately for them, it was not
- enough, as they lost the game, 13-11.

- oh by the way, a third grand slam was hit by a Ranger in that game. That
- slam tied a MLB record (which was matched again this year I think....).
