- I have a funny feeling that a lot of other people know this too. But in
- a Mets-Reds game about 6-7 years ago, a big fight broke out. A bunch of
- guys got thrown out. Davey Johnson ended up having to use Roger McDowell
- and Jesse Orosco (I think it was Jesse Orosco) at the same time. McDowell
- pitched to right handed hitters, Orosco to lefties. The odd man out played
- right field. As I recall, McDowell actually had to make one or two plays
- in the outfield. Seems to me Tim McCarver mentioned this game in his book
- "Oh Baby, I Love It."
