- Some interesting facts of jumpers in world freestyle championship.
-
- A team from Japan, Kubota and Kawabata, who won the silver only have a
- couple hundreds jumps. (Kawabata became victim of dust devil - micro
- tornado - and broke his leg before competition and alternate cameraman
- jumped) Both are instructors in Indoor Skydiving Center in Osaka,
- Japan, with 100 and 80 hours of body flight time. Both came to US in
- August to train for the meet, with Kubota just off student status and
- Kawabata with NO skydiving experience at all. Kawabata graduated AFF
- course with only 4 jumps. Some new generation skydivers. They need a
- little more practice with their canopy control though :-)
