- Speaking of materials... how about Bergundal (sp?) cloth. I've only seen
- it in Columbia garments, but it talks about being water and wind resistant.
- I realize it is not supposed to be as water proof as Gortex/Sympatex...
- but what is the net experience with the cloth?
- BTW, I'm in the market for a shell I can wear skiing, hiking and biking in
- the cold/wet New England weather. The REI brand of Gortex-like stuff seems
- nice and less expensive than regular Gortex, but the Columbia Burgundal is
- even more in my price range. Any opinions out there?
