  13. On the subject of Gore-tex, I read a net.rumor on rec.backcountry that the 
  14. patent on Gore-Tex is about to expire and that we are going to see a whole
  15. host of cheap Gore-Tex products in the near future.
  16. Does this make sense to anyone out there? I have no idea how patent
  17. law works and how it differs from country to country so I thought I would ask 
  18. the net...
