  14. Well, it's time. I just got the call from some friendly folks who
  15. work at Alta. Alta opened today at 1pm! It was a packing party, but
  16. it probabily means that they'll be open for business tomorrow, Sat
  17. the 21st of November. Snowbird will be open tomorrow as well.

  19. We got a storm last night which dropped over 20" at the bottom of
  20. Snowbird as of 8am this morning, I'd imagine that there was a bunch
  21. more at the top of the mountain. Snowbird reports a base of 39" at
  22. the bottom, 48" at Mid-Gad and no report for the top of the tram.

  24. A friend at Alta who hiked guessed that there was about 60 inches of
  25. snow including 25" of fresh.

  27. Snowbird tix will be $37 (US) for a full day with the tram, $32 (US)
  28. for a full day of chairs.

  30. Alta tix will be $23 (US) for a full day.
