  13. Someone once said on this newsgroup:
  14.    "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one..."

  16. It has always seemed to me if you ask ten different people or read ten
  17. different magazines trying to find out what is the steepest trail or the
  18. best overall resort or whatever else; you will get ten different answers.
  19. This has motivated me to put together a brief and very informal survey.  
  20. The people on this newgroup are very knowledgeable, experienced skiers,
  21. and I am interested in capturing some of their opinions.  I will of course 
  22. tabulate all the results and post them on the newsgroup.

  24. If you think that this is a good idea, please take the time to fill out the 
  25. survey and send it back to me.  If you don't think it's a good idea, don't.
  26. Please respond by email only.

  28. Also, if you have any suggestions for other categories, please let me know.
  29. If the response to this one is good enough, you may see a second survey, with
  30. the new categories included.

  32. Finally, I must apologize if some of these categories turn out to be
  33. one in the same for many skiers.
