  13. Iron Mtn. has just gotten new buyers and will open again this year.
  14. For the snowboarders on the net, that has got to be good news. They
  15. have catered to snowboarders for the last couple of years now with
  16. organized races, half pipes, etc. way before others had them. It is
  17. a small resort and not the most challenging in the area, but I have
  18. had people say they actually prefer it to other bigger resorts. They
  19. used to have a mid-week ticket that was something like $16. Of course,
  20. I don't know what they will be like this year.

  22. Bear Valley just completed about $2.5 Million in work on lifts and
  23. runs this past summer. Of course, the fire earlier this year did some 
  24. damage but not much. Their huge parking areas were used as the evacuation
  25. point for all the local residents in that area. I don't know what their
  26. prices will be this year.

  28. Iron Mtn. is on Hwy. 88 east of Sacramento and Bear Valley is on Hwy.
  29. 4 east of Stockton. Iron Mtn.s phone # is 209-258-4672 and Bear Valley's
  30. is 209-753-2301.
