I have a pair of the old style 'blades with metal wheel frames, and I've never had a problem with bending... I am an avid trick skier, so I love to thrash on my 'blades as well. I ride stairs, jump levels in the parking garage, and even ride the raised perimeter around a fountain here at UNM, and I've never had a single problem with rail bending or bearing damage (still got original bearings) even though I do my best to break something!! I'd stack my blades up against anything else on the market today (eve
n though I've seen a pair of Roces that look pretty tough).
