- Re Tonya Harding's problems. It's hard to say exactly what her
- difficulty is -- she seemed to be happy with the way she was skating,
- but at the same time it seemed like she wasn't really trying very
- hard. I think she's right in saying that she can win without a triple
- axel, but not if she leaves out all her other triple jumps as well.
- She may indeed just be out of shape, although I didn't think it looked
- like she'd put on *that* much weight (for example, compared to how
- chunky Elaine Zayak was during her last year or two in competition).

- Anyway, it's early in the season yet, and I wouldn't write her off
- completely.
