  15. Join the New England Aquarium Dive Club!  I was a member for years, and officer 
  16. for a 
  17. short while, before I moved from the Boston area.  They meet at the Aquarium 
  18. the third wednesday evening each month and have an informal meeting at a
  19. member's house the first wed each month in order to assemble and mail the 
  20. newsletter.  There are over 500 members in the greater Boston area (generally
  21. 50 - 100 show up at general meetings).

  23. They organize local boat and shore dive schedules (May to Oct) and folks get 
  24. together on their own for travel, etc.

  26. Each month at the general meeting, two members' names are picked out of a hat
  27. and they get to dive in the Giant Ocean Tank (GOT) at the Aquarium.  I've
  28. done it and it's a blast.  You can see the little kid's hollerin' on the other
  29.  side of the glass!
