  12. There's another GE 40-8 "sound" that I've heard while the engine is
  13. idling. The quiet burble suddenly increases in rpm and is accompanied
  14. by something starting up (like a big fan, increasing revs, etc.)
  15. accompanied by a compressor like sound and a whine, which runs
  16. for a couple of minutes and then shuts down. This may or may not
  17. be operating when the engine is in motion. I'm not sure.
