- A few days ago I was tuning thru HF & on 7709USB heard a Bob Seger song.
- At first, I thought I just found a feeder, but after listening some more, I
- decided that either the transmitter was very sick, or the Bob Seger record
- was quite warped!
-
- I continued to listen, & finally realized someone was singing it
- 'live.' I started to think that the person singing --although he knew the
- complete lyrics-- was somewhat retarded, due to how he pronounced some of
- the lyrics.
-
- After he finished the song, he started conversing with someone else on the
- freq -- in Cantonese.
-
- I've decided that these poor, bored Chinese guys are cooped up on fishing
- vessels somewhere with an HF radio & one or two cassettes of U.S. music.
-
-
- It is one of the funniest things I've ever heard, & they were there again
- this morning at about 0200Z, so listen for them!
