  15.      PEOPLE'S CLUE WRITING COMPETITION NUMBER 4 RESULTS

  17. The best-loved clue for the word LANDSLIDE was submitted by
  18. Greg Lawler:

  20.  6) Country's top executives lead massive victory  (9)
  21.  
  22. Greg's clue received 71.9% of the maximum points, and Greg is hereby 
  23. invited to moderate PCWC 5.  Congratulations!
  24.  
  25. Second place goes to Guy Jacobson for:

  27.  3) "This kind of victory is overwhelming," said Lendl gamely (9)
  28.  
  29. Guy's clue was the most controversial clue among well-liked clues, 
  30. as well as receiving the most first-place votes.  (It seems like 
  31. this happens to Guy almost every time!)

  33. Third place goes to Steven Grady for:

  37. The other clues with above-average finishes were:

  52. ranking, and was the only clue to be seen as the absolutely best 
  53. and absolutely worst clue by our panel of judges:
