- The question on Kit Williams book "Masquerade" reminded me: in (I
- think) 1984, Williams wrote another book. The puzzle of this book was to
- find out the title; the book was generaly known as "Kit Williams' New
- Book," but the real title was hidden somewhere in the story, which
- involved a beekeeper and the four seasons. After you figured out the
- title, you were supposed to send it to Kit Williams, represented in some
- non-verbal fashion-- say, as a sculpture, or a musical piece, and
- Williams would pick from among the correct answers the most creatively
- expressed one. The winner was supposed to be announced in 1986, but I
- never heard anything about it.
-
- Does anybody know what the title ended up being? Or what some of the
- clues were? Or who won? Or what some of the non-winning entries were
- like? Or what Kit Williams has been up to since then?
