- Or you could use a wide angle lens to produce the effect. Try taking a
- vertical shot of someone from Ground level with a 35mm lens. There is
- sufficient wide angle effect to "stretch" the persons legs and make it appear
- they have longer legs.
- The inherent distortion of wide angle (and some zoom lens) does stretch the
- picture horizontally, especially at the edges. If there are people photographed
- at the edges, they will be "stretched" and consequently, look fatter.
