- Can anyone give me some suggestions on a good new camera to buy?
-
- I want the following:
- 35mm,
- full manual control over, well, everything, should I desire it
- built in light meter
- full range of exposure possibilities, from holding shutter open to
- at least 1/1000 sec.
- changable lens'
-
- It would be nice (VERY NICE!) if I could use my Tamron 70-210 zoom,
- which has a Pentax mount.
-
- Price should be under about $500 Cdn.
-
- I'm tossing around the idea of a Canon Rebel, but I'm not sure why. I
- guess advertising is useful for something.
-
- The camera must be durable. I don't want a camera that is going to fall
- apart the first time it takes a bump when I take a tumble. ( I like to get
- my shots from places that most people are afraid to climb/hike/fight to.)
-
- Suggestions anyone?
