- From what you described, I think we are coming down to what we mean
- when we say a particular pattern is resolved.

- The rules are simple: you need to see the separation of the 5 horizontal
- and verticle lines. In reality, there is a grey area where lines are broken
- (probably due film or processing) but you can still see the separation
- between lines. I would count it as resolved.

- I would like to see if I can dig out one of the old films that registered
- my test on Canon EF 28/f2.8 where I first (and only) resolved a pattern
- over 100 lp/mm. If I do find it, I will be glad to send it to you.
