- The manual for FM2 describes MD12 as the only drive to use. It also says
- that when attached and turned on, the MD12 will supply power to the
- meter in order to conserve the camera's battery. Now I gather that the
- MD11 will also fit, but will apparently wear down the camera's
- battery. Is this simply because MD11 will keep the meter on at all
- times, and not power it through its own batteries, or is there some
- basic cirquit incompatibility?. Does the manual list MD12 only just
- because the MD11 is discontinued? In short - can I use MD11 on FM2,
- and will this involve any sacrifices?
