- I have an EOS-100 (ELAN in the US), and I don't think it actually reads the
- number of exposures from the DX-coded film can. There are only six sensors,
- which I assume correspond to the top row of the DX-code, where the film
- speed information is encoded. The number of exposures is in the bottom row.

- I'd say I get that 25th frame out of a 24 exposure roll more often with the
- EOS-100 than I could with my old AV-1. Perhaps the camera assumes all film
- has 36 exposures, so you can go past 24 on a 24 exposure roll but not past
- 36 on a 36 exposure roll.
