  16.   About canon rt mirror has to be sent to Canon to be cleaned.
  17.  A word of caution here " DON'T CLEANED YOUR MIRROR" 
  18.  you can easily scratch your mirror. Mirror is very delicate
  19.  a mild blow of air are sufficient to remove the dust.

  21.    Once my friend leaved a finger print in my mirror. i try to
  22.  cleaned it. the result. mirror are cleaned but the view finder are 
  23.  a tad darker and grainier. i'would never cleaned my mirror 
  24. aain . beside a bit of dust in mirror won't effect the picture
  25.  since the mirror would come up during the exposure.
  26.  with the exception of Canon RT. and cases where the mirror is
  27.  really dirty that it alter the metering .
