- I bought an Arkay Print Dryer (Model F-15C, 265 Watts) at a garage
- sale recently. It's one of those models that looks sort of like a
- clamshell. It has two canvas flaps which hold the prints against the
- hot surface.
-
- Anyway, I was previously under the impression that these style dryers
- had a shiny metal surface. The idea being that if you want high
- gloss, put the print face down on the metal, otherwise, put it face
- up.
-
- However, this dryer has a paper coating stuck down on the shiny metal.
- Can/should I remove it? What's it there for?
