  13. My landlords have a year-old cocker spaniel which howls for HOURS
  14. every morning when they leave. I received only one response to my
  15. earlier plea, a suggestion about legal action. Well, it's a nice dog,
  16. and my landlords are nice people, so I don't really see any reason to
  17. get formal. It just makes me unhappy to hear the poor dog.
  18.   Is this dog really as unhappy as it sounds, or is it just a tantrum?
  19. Also, will a year-old-exactly pup grow out of this behaviour? 
  20. The dog is left alone about 35 hours a week over six days, which
  21. doesn't seem excessive.
