- This is not authoritative, but my understanding is that cats can see *some*
- colors (more than dogs, anyway), but that since seeing color is not
- particularly important for their survival, they generally ignore color
- differences. In other words, they can physically *see* colors, but they don't
- pay any attention to them under normal circumstances.
