- Heh.
-
- This reminded me of another toy that is popular at
- my house. One of two, actually. One is a mouse
- I crocheted myself - with catnip in it - been going
- strong for 5-6 years.
-
- The other is this "mouse" I got at the RennFaire a
- few years ago - one of the leather works folks had
- come up with an ingenious way of using up the odd-
- shaped scraps - those long skinny tapering bits that
- are about 1.5 inches at one end, and taper for a foot
- or more? What they did is start rolling it up at the
- wide end, until there was only 6 inches or so left,
- then slice a hole through the roll and stick the
- end through the hole - and sell them for $1.00 each
- as "leather mice". It's so strong that even with 6
- cats having played with it, there's no sign that it's
- been touched except that the fuzzy side is a bit
- disarrayed. They LOVE it!
