- Hi! Northwest airlines has a brochure -- Priority Pet -- which contains a
- wealth of information about air travel with your pet. give them a call or pick
- one up from a NW office or desk. 1-800-225-252.
-
- although your cat is very fastidious, six hours is a long time to hold it in,
- whether she has eaten/drank during the trip or not.
- is your kennel large enough for some small litter pan? highly recommended.
-
- pet supply places sell grids for the bottom of the kennel, so that if the pet
- urinates, it passes through and the pet doesnt end up sitting in its own urine.
- the brochure suggests black and white(no coloured ink) newspaper or litter.
- disposable pans are sold in pet shops.
-
- a towel on the bottom of the kennel sounds cozy, but awful if the cat pees on
- it and then has to sit with it for 6 hours.
-
- good luck and send the newsgroup an electronic postcard of your travels!
