- Ringworm is a fungal infection, and can be spread to people, dogs and other cats.
- My brother just adopted a new kitten, who had ringworm, and it spread to him, his
- wife, 6 year old daughter and dog. Fortunatly, his 7 month old daughter did not
- get the ringworm.

- Another way that vets check for ringworm is using a "black light." Appearently,
- ringworm floreses under ultraviolet light and can be spotted that way. If you
- suspect ringworm, I would suggust you ask the vet about checking with a black
- light.
