- Oh damn. All along I've been reading the replies and wondering what
- the roommate did. I never did see the original posting. Unfortunately,
- the last item was nice enough to include the original.

- I am horrified! I can certainly understand how different cultures have
- different morales, etc, but this is no excuse!!! If that had been my
- kitty, the miserable bitch would have been packed and out the door,
- with a few smacks to help her along.

- Get out of this situation now, whether it means replacing your roommate
- or leaving yourself. The plight of your pet is at stake. Not only are
- you risking more physical abuse (who knows how she treats him when you're
- not there??) but mental abuse. I would rather see an animal euthanized
- than have him suffer like this.
