- These people have ABANDONED their pets and the cats have no other choice but to
- seek food and shelter elsewhere. Like all abandoned animals they need to be
- taken to a shelter. There they will at least have a chance at a better life.
-
- You will not be taking them away from their owners. The owners need to be
- forced to make a decision and you are helping with that. They must
- decide to take care of the cats if they retrieve them from
- the shelter, or they must let someone else take them, which they will do by not
- retreiving them. In any event, the cats at least will have had some humane
- help rather than have them just drift out of the owners sight to die.
-
- Take the cats to the shelter and tell them where the cats came from. If the
- owners care they will come for them, but I wouldn't bet on it. And you can
- request that you remain anonymous.
-
- Help these babies, please. They have known only a safe place to sleep and
- food that comes out of cans. They are ill-equipped to fend for themselves, and
- only know how to go to humans for their needs.
