- When I last took Boopsie to the vet (September) she weighed between 12
- & 13 pounds and the vet told me she'd HAVE to shed some poounds. So,
- I've put her on IAMS Less Active, and slowly reduced the amount I'm
- feeding her to 1/2 cup per day--the minimum for her weight.
-
- Boopsie now weighs 14 pounds, and I don't know where the extra weight
- is coming from. There is no food in my home and some bugs, but not
- enough for such a large weight gain. She likes chewing on papers and
- cardboard. Could she be gaining weight by eating paper?
-
- Before people start telling me that I should just let Boopsie eat her
- fill and ignore the weight, 1) the vet did order her to lose weight,
- and 2) I'm tired of my friends making fun of her size.
-
- Any ideas?
