- I don't usually buy my cats toys anymore because the toys sit neglected in
- the corner while the girls play with wads of paper, toilet paper rolls, pens,
- bugs, and anything else that's not a 'cat toy'.

- Last weekend, however, I went to the pet store to buy new collars and I picked
- up a fur mousie. Mango sniffed it, decided it was a cat toy, and wandered off
- to play with something else. Maggie found it next and went absolutely nuts!
- She plays with it in the same way that she plays with dead birds - grabs it,
- flings it in the air, pounces on it, and flings it again. She has fun, and
- I don't have to clean up feathers and bird blood...
