  24. I don't usually buy my cats toys anymore because the toys sit neglected in
  25. the corner while the girls play with wads of paper, toilet paper rolls, pens,
  26. bugs, and anything else that's not a 'cat toy'.

  28. Last weekend, however, I went to the pet store to buy new collars and I picked 
  29. up a fur mousie.  Mango sniffed it, decided it was a cat toy, and wandered off 
  30. to play with something else.  Maggie found it next and went absolutely nuts! 
  31. She plays with it in the same way that she plays with dead birds - grabs it, 
  32. flings it in the air, pounces on it, and flings it again.  She has fun, and
  33. I don't have to clean up feathers and bird blood...
