- My friend Claire's cat Toby used to take little sips of Scotch from her
- glass. He only liked Laphroaig, though; wouldn't touch Famous Grouse or
- Chivas. (In all fairness, she never tried him on any other single malt.)
-
- I realize this wasn't all that good for him, but he doesn't seem to have
- suffered any ill effects. Claire hasn't been buying Laphroaig since
- it went up to $35 a bottle (and neither am I ... <sniffle>), so Toby's
- safely on the wagon now.
