- Frog had a similar problem last month. She's also indoor/outdoor. Her
- stool was very wet, but not actually all liquid. The blood came out
- after the stool. I did take her to the vet, they took a sample for
- testing and told me to keep her inside for up to a week and feed her
- only dry food until the stool was normal again. The tests came back
- negative and she was better in about four or five days after it started.
- The vet suggested that something she was eating outside could have been
- causing her some digestive trouble.
-
- Having said that, there are any number of more serious problems that
- could be causing Tweak's trouble. If it's not noticeably better tomorrow,
- head to the vet. Just knowing the tests were negative made me feel much
- better. (Yeah, I know, it was the cat who was sick, but she didn't
- seem to mind as much as I did.)
