  10. It's getting close to Christmas and I wanted to buy my Tamora one of
  11. those platform carseats I saw advertized in a magazine, once.  However,
  12. I've looked thru all the old Cat Fancy and Cats magazines I have and
  13. can't find them advertized anymore.

  15. They are shaped like a small "quanset hut".  They have a solid floor and
  16. everything else (sides, ends, rounded top) is made of that black nylon
  17. mesh (medium sized mesh).  The device is strapped to the back of the car
  18. seat, so that it is up high enough that the cat can see out.  The fact 
  19. that it's made out of mesh keeps the cat inside the device and enables 
  20. it to be protected from accidents, while still allowing it to see all 
  21. around.  I seem to remember they were rediculously expensive and were
  22. only sold by mail order.

  24. I thought this sort of cat car seat would be wonderful to have if I
  25. ever want to take Tamora on a long trip.
