  13. Thanks for all of the suggestions for getting my cat out from under the bed.
  14. Actually, as long as she doesn't think I'm going to take her anywhere, if I sit
  15. on the floor next to the bed, she will come out, as she did last nite, and I 
  16. was able to successfully take her to the vets!
  17. My one problem is that this cat is totally laid back!  I live in a condo which 
  18. has three stories, and she can be sleeping upstairs under the bed and I can 
  19. come in with groceries, whatever, make all kinds of noise, and she doesn't bat 
  20. an eye!  If I were to rattle cat treats, I would have to rattle it upstairs in 
  21. front of her eyes, I think!  When she has been sleeping all day, she is totally
  22. zonked!  Nothing stirs her!
  23. The vet said she was the best kitty he had seen in a long time when he went to 
  24. take the stitches out; she didn't utter a peep, just got all wide-eyed!
  25. I am so proud of her!
  26. I want to get a little friend for her now, and was thinking about the Humane 
  27. Society, but after reading all the horror stories, I am not so sure!  I am FOR 
  28. declawing (please, no flames), and they probably would think me a monster, but 
  29. I would also want the new kitty declawed as well.  They would be strictly 
  30. indoor cats, and Chelsea would always get her claws caught in something, not to
  31. mention she was clawing my new drapes.  There is not anything I would not do 
  32. for her, I love her so much, and I would hope the Humane Society would be able 
  33. to see this in my behavior, whether I declaw or not.  I am hoping a little 
  34. buddy will perk her up some, she seems so lazy!  Well, at least until time for 
  35. me to go to bed, then she likes to play "attack the feet under the bed" and 
  36. play with her fur mousie!
  37. This morning she jumped on my stomach at 5:30 AM, and I was sound asleep, not 
  38. having to get up til 7:30. She wanted her head scratched!  Needless to say, I 
  39. am tired today!
