- I have two seven year old spayed female cats who are not related. They
- do have an established hierarchy, or rather several, depending on the
- activity. Piper is top cat when it comes to sleeping in our bed or
- sitting in the window next to the bird feeder. Tumi will move if Piper wants
- one of those spots. If Piper is already there Tumi approaches carefully to
- see if she will be tolerated. When it comes to food Tumi is the top cat and
- Piper lets her have the first bowl of food to be filled. Of course Tumi
- outweighs Piper.
