- The disease that you refer to is Tricinosis. It is a parasite which
- enters the pigs through contaminated food stuffs (pigs will eat
- anything that does not move). Host site within the body is the liver
- and will cause cystits to form.

- As a rule of thumb from my mom never feed anything to any animal that
- you would not feed to a child of the same age. Granted the digestive
- tracts of all involved are different but for a new owner this may help
- in what is safe and what is not.
