  33. The disease that you refer to is Tricinosis.  It is a parasite which 
  34. enters the pigs through contaminated food stuffs (pigs will eat 
  35. anything that does not move).  Host site within the body is the liver 
  36. and will cause cystits to form.

  38. As a rule of thumb from my mom never feed anything to any animal that 
  39. you would not feed to a child of the same age.  Granted the digestive 
  40. tracts of all involved are different but for a new owner this may help 
  41. in what is safe and what is not.
