- It sounds like poor Mickey has mites. We've never been able to cure them
- when they've popped up in our rats; simply quarantine those rats from all
- our others (for the rest of their lives) to keep it from spreading. I
- believe that about 10 years ago the only suggestion we got was to cut
- off a piece of a Shell No-Pest Strip, and paste it to the upper corner
- of the cage where the rattie couldn't get at it (we never put this into
- practice so I don't know if it will work. Perhaps your vet has a newer or
- better suggestion for mites. Sorry.
