  13.         may I suggest a little paperback available at many brewing supply 
  14. stores...Making Mead by Bryan Acton and Peter Duncan, Argus Books Ltd. 1984, 
  15. ISBN 0 9oo841 07 9. It contains not only mead recipes but also a delightful 
  16. assortment of others including many that are period and several that are 
  17. hot. I haven't tried the hot ones yet but I remember at least one made from 
  18. ale.
