- Lamb's Wool uses hot cider as a base. The recipe we were using, suggested
- variants with hot wine and hot beer. Our cook's guild tried them. The
- hot wine variant was ... shall we say an acquired taste? The hot beer
- version had to be pitched. I'd can't post the recipe as a friend of mine
- has borrowed all of my medieval cookbooks, she's taking a cooking course
- and had to design a menu around a theme. ;-)
-
- P.S. The recipe also said the stuff would taste even better the next day.
- We have yet to have a 5-gallon batch last longer than two hours. ;-)
