  19. Lamb's Wool uses hot cider as a base.  The recipe we were using, suggested
  20. variants with hot wine and hot beer.  Our cook's guild tried them.  The
  21. hot wine variant was ... shall we say an acquired taste?  The hot beer
  22. version had to be pitched.  I'd can't post the recipe as a friend of mine
  23. has borrowed all of my medieval cookbooks, she's taking a cooking course
  24. and had to design a menu around a theme. ;-)

  26. P.S.  The recipe also said the stuff would taste even better the next day.
  27. We have yet to have a 5-gallon batch last longer than two hours. ;-)
