- My wife and I seized the opportunity to take advantage of a beautiful
- weekend this past weekend and stopped by the BlueBonnet Ranch just
- outside of Fort Worth, Texas. We spent most of Sunday checking out
- the ranch and relaxing. This was our first visit to BlueBonnet and
- my wife's first visit to a landed club (other than Kiva). We had
- our 9 month old daughter, Kerstin, with us. We had a great time.
- The weather was sunny and 75 degrees. The ranch covers about 66
- acres of rolling Texas hills and features a solar heated pool,
- sauna, jacuzzi, and clubhouse. We met the propreitor, Charlie,
- upon arrival and were immediately put to ease. He was very friendly
- and made a definite effort to make sure that Cyndi was comfortable
- with the surroundings while introducing us to others around the
- ranch. Once on our on, we took a short hike through a wooded area
- on their nature trail and then headed for the jacuzzi. We had a very
- relaxing afternoon and for the most part had the ranch to ourselves.
- This being the offseason for them, there were very few guests by late
- sunday afternoon. Cyndi and I both look forward to more nice weekends
- so that we can check out more Texas CO sites and return to BlueBonnet.
