- I think that the problem with them having financial difficulties isn't
- terribly valid. Remember, they not only get money from FLA, but also Intermix,
- Delerium, Cyberaktif, etc. Also, their contract with Third Mind was up after
- Tactical Neural Implant, but according to Bill Leeb, several labels were
- interested in FLA. Also, FLA signed to do a lucrative commercial soundtrack
- thing. (Commercial, as in radio commercials, etc.) So I don't think Financial
- is the problem...

- Not only FLA, but all bands: Remember there's an international
- marketplace. Also, think of this: If FLA (or anyone) sells 10,000 cd's at
- $13.99, there's quite a bit of money there to pay the bills to every middle
- man and enough to trickle down to FLA.

-
- That would be the only financial one that I think is truly valid.
- In order to pay for a REAL concert, you've gotta have a lot of fans. When
- you only attract 2-3000, that really limits profitability. So for them to
- put on the show they really want to, they'd have to sink in their own money,
- and I'm sure they aren't making THAT much, but they are making enough to
- keep going (Note January release of Intermix _Phaze Two_)

- This is true. I wasn't all too impressed with the remixes, but at
- least there were 2 previously unreleased tracks. Anyway, I'm glad to see
- somebody give thought to the music and present arguments instead of the usual
- mindless, unsupported blather on this list. Let's make this a habit, please.
