  45. hey since when has metallica ever used a vox or a drum machine or  
  46. keyboards or sampling? i don't quite think al is just trying to copy  
  47. everyone else's projects.  techno is as popular now as it was then. if al  
  48. was really into getting mass approval, he'd still be releasing "with  
  49. sympathy" type albums.  instead of making some money with the "metallica  
  50. crowd", he'd be making vast amounts of money with the depeche mode-erasure  
  51. scene.  that doesn't quite sound like madonna.  if he were in it just to  
  52. make a buck, he'd be releasing 100% top forty drivel. but i agree that the  
  53. music is enjoyable despite any attitude the band may project.
