  15. Is it such a shock that Al did 'With Sympathy'  He even toured with
  16. Culture Club to promote it. Ever since the beginning he has admitted to
  17. trying to manipulate the record industry and the general public for money
  18. to do 'his own thang'.  
  19. When techno was in vogue, he was techno.  Make some cash off the masses
  20. that would follow him.  You see metallica get some hits and you can expect
  21. Al to get a little more harsh so he can keep his friends dishin' out dough
  22. for his albums.  He no different than, say, Madonna (boy, will I get
  23. flamed for that one). 
  24. I know I will regret saying it, but he has the same attitude Ross Perot
  25. does. He just wants people to love him.  Actually quite funny to see the
  26. number of people atthe highly commercial LollapaLOSER with their highly
  27. commercial T-shirts (how much did some people pay?!?!). I listen to AL as
  28. much as the next guy (beginning with 'With Sympathy' but I think people
  29. got to realize he's just out to make a buck like 99.99999% (I just made up
  30. that number) of the rest of the world. Just because a guy has an attitude
  31. doesn't mean you can't like the music, any music.
