  15.  I recently tried cosmos' Reels 2.2 program, and although I thought it
  16.  had great features and was extremely well done, it lacked several
  17.  features that I would like to see. Consequently, I have just finished
  18.  writing my first application!
  19.  
  20.  This is a Windows application that runs under a database program called
  21.  "Approach" which is neccessary for it to run. I am investigating
  22.  licensing a runtime version of Approach, but if that proves impossible,
  23.  you would need Approach to run my program. It sells on the street for
  24.  about $249, but currently has a competitive upgrade of $149. Any
  25.  database will suffice to qualify for this upgrade.

  27.  What my program will do is foremost, allow you to enter the data for
  28.  any set ONCE, including where the tape flip occurs, and print
  29.  beautifully formatted Cassette Labels AND RDAT Labels! Additonally, you
  30.  can print a complete tapelist,including all data and song list per set,
  31.  also formatted, or an ascii only list for bbs upload. The database
  32.  holds information on any and all Artists, not just GD, and allows you
  33.  to search and group in many different ways.

  35.  Any data can be searched on and kept as a group of records for printing
  36.  of labels or lists. These searches include: Artist, Date, Venue,
  37.  Quality of Tape, Cassettes Only, RDATS Only, All Tapes, City, State or
  38.  tapes including any song which can be searched by only enetering the
  39.  first few letters of the song.  Additionally, you are provided with a
  40.  screen including a repeating panel that will scroll through all of your
  41.  tapes allowing you to instantly go to any show that you select from the
  42.  list. All of these functions including searches, printing, sorting, etc
  43.  are provided on Windows Type Buttons.

  45.  Sound interesting to anyone? If so I would be happy to provide it as
  46.  Shareware with a charge of $29.95! All I would need towrite would be
  47.  instructions for use for the product to be ready to market.

  49.  Perhaps the Deadbase folks would like to consider a version that would
  50.  include all shows and to be sold as a binary version of Deadbase?

  53.  suggestions.  And if anyone out there has Approach already and would
  54.  like to beta test a copy for me, please let me know.
