  17. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the stateewide initiative,
  18. which passed, actually designed to turn over some local laws (or edicts or
  19. policies or decress or whatever) that guaranteed protection against discrim-
  20. ination based on sexual preference?  I was under the impression that the   
  21. proposition was aimed at the laws promulgated in Denver, Boulder, and maybe
  22. even other localities.  If this is/was the case, then boycotting Denver would
  23. really only serve to punish the areas that were trying to do something positive
  24. in this regard anyway, areas which may have the numbers and power to set things
  25. right again.
