- I'm moving to England this year, Brighton in particular, and I play Irish
- music (button accordian and piano backup). I suppose it may seem obvious
- that proximity to Irelend and Scotland will increase the amount of
- opportunities to hear and play Irish music, but I wonder how true it
- really is? Who knows, maybe there are more Irish pubs with active
- sessions in Boston and Chicago than there are in London.
-
- Can anyone give me an account of just how much enthusiasm there is for
- playing Irish music in England itself? Pubs with sessions that I can sit
- in on with my accordian? Lots of folks who play Irish fiddle music for
- fun? Specific details on Brighton appreciated.
